Desde hace tiempo, hay una mascarilla que siempre mejora la apariencia de la piel de mi cara. Como ya he contado, padezco rosácea y no es una tarea fácil controlarla o encontrar productos que ayuden. Esta mascarilla reduce la irritación, suaviza mi piel y la hace ver radiante.
El ingrediente
Su ingrediente más importante es la cúrcuma, una raíz que tiene muchas propiedades benéficas para el cuerpo y para la piel, incluyendo la mejoría a condiciones como la rosácea, el acné y sus cicatrices, el eczema y la soriasis. Es un gran antioxidante, por lo que reduce la inflamación y retrasa signos de envejecimiento y las manchas de la piel. En India, las novias la usan previamente a la boda para que su piel se vea más iluminada y sin imperfecciones.
Sus compuestos aportan un brillo natural a todo tipo de piel, resultando perfecta después de un viaje pesado o una jornada cansada.
Contiene altas cantidades de vitaminas y minerales, por lo que es muy recomendable que forme parte de nuestra alimentación frecuentemente. De esta forma además se previenen enfermedades neurológicas.
La receta
- 1 cda leche o yogurt griego (sin endulzante)
- 1 cda miel de abeja (ningún jarabe artificial)
- 1 cda de cúrcuma en polvo
- Mezcla todo en un recipiente pequeño. Agrega cúrcuma si la consistencia es muy líquida.
- Prepárate para ponértela: recoge tu cabello y ponte una blusa con cuello amplio o que no te importe manchar.
- Aplica sobre tu rostro limpio con ayuda de una cuchara. Déjala actuar por 5 minutos aproximadamente.
- Puedes guardar el restante de la mascarilla en el refrigerador para volver a usarla, sólo asegúrate de usar un recipiente cubierto para que no se reseque demasiado y tengas que volver a agregar leche.
- Enjuaga gentilmente con agua abundante. Yo me meto a la regadera, pues es muy difícil enjuagarla totalmente en el lavabo y siempre queda un residuo amarillo. Esta especia es usada como pigmento natural, así que es una pesadilla lavarla.
- Una vez que enjuagues tu cara, no olvides humectarla.
Puedes usarla una vez por semana y notar sus beneficios.
