Viví en París, Francia del 2011 al 2013. Fue un periodo que marcó muchísimo mi vida y me dejó muchos aprendizajes. Hoy les contaré sobre mis principales actividades allá durante ese tiempo.
- Filosofía
Estudié filosofía en el Centre d’Études Philosophiques en Boulogne-Billancourt y fue una gran experiencia. Desde entonces la filosofía me llama más y más. Vivimos en una época de muchísimo ruido, teorías, ideologías, new age, y aterrizar para conocer la realidad es una herramienta que deberíamos de aprender todo.
2. ISG
Estudié administración en el Institut Supérieur de Gestion en París. Tenía compañeros de todas partes del mundo y los recuerdo con gran cariño.
3. Patinaje
Tomaba clases en el Club Olympique de Courbevoie, y fue mi parte favorita de todos mis años en París. Conocí a grandes patinadores franceses, asistí a los Trophée Eric Bompard del 2012 y 2013 (vi a los mejores competir ahí), pasé mis exámenes de “lames” (que son los niveles) y mi técnica avanzó muchísimo.
4. Novotel
Trabajé un verano como recepcionista en el Novotel de La Défense, la zona financiera de París. Aprendí muchísimo sobre resolución de conflictos, servicio y cultura. Entre semana venían personas por negocios, y el fin de semana por turismo, así que todos los días había historias muy diferentes.
5. Moda
Hice prácticas con un diseñador de moda, iba y compraba materiales, cortaba, cosía, asistía en photoshoots, en el desfile en el Paris Fashion Week… de todo. Luego seguí asistiendo en backstage para otros desfiles PFW. Vi muchas cosas que me encantaron, y otras que no. Y eso me sirvió para tomar decisiones difíciles.
Durante esos años además aprendí el idioma, me adapté a la cultura, descubrí mucho sobre quién soy, y entré en mi edad adulta. Uno no abre los ojos hasta que sale y vive cosas nuevas.

Wow so many amazing experiences and things you learned during your time in Paris! This is why I fully advocate for anyone to go and try something outside of their comfort zone. I feel that those are things that make life interesting! Don’t just live the same day in and out and then look back thinking, I wish I did ‘this or that’.I bet the expereience really changed you and shaped you into who you are today xx
